VW Passat CC

With the launch of the new Passat cc, Volkswagen reveals a design that combines elegant clarity with a high level of impressive power. Clarity and power are two elements that mingle on the exterior of the eighth-generation Volkswagen Passat to create a design that reflects exclusivity. A design that is not just fashionable, but even more contemporary. A design that is not strange, but very expressive. A design in which every line has a purpose. A design that will be influential in its era.

A restyling to the CC was presented at the LA Auto Show, and production started in January 2012. The front and rear were revised to make the CC look similar to the current Volkswagen design, while the midsection is unchanged. Interior changes included a minor design change to the center console, with an updated ACC control panel. This design is also used in the Passat Alltrack.

European engine options remain the same as for the 2011 Passat CC. Transmission options were carried over from the previous version, but the diesel automatic transmission now has with a free wheel function that is claimed to reduce fuel consumption by disengaging the clutch, when the driver lifts their foot from the accelerator.

The VW CC has been quite a success, with more than 300,000 sold worldwide since the original VW Passat CC was launched in 2008. Standing for Comfort Coupé, it offers five-door practicality with a bit more glamour.

To rent at ECar.ma:

23 years old or older,

You have held a driving license for more than 2 years, valid, readable in Arabic or French or Spanish or English.

You have a local identity card or passport and a credit card in your name.

As the main driver, you are obligatorily the payer (it is the holder of the means of payment who must withdraw the vehicle in agency, and be designated as main driver).

Your name and surname are the same on your ID, credit card and driver's license.

Before delivery of your vehicle:

Present ECar.ma agents your driving license,

Present your ID (National Identity Card, Passport),

Justify your personal address in Morocco with a proof of address of less than 2 months, declare your address or name of your hotel in Morocco,

Communicate your phone number,

Declare the identity of the different drivers: if there are several drivers, they must all present their driver's license and be in agency to establish the contract and the catch of the vehicle, and to regulate the supplement if the chosen formula demands it,

Adjust your rental and supplements or justify the prepayment, Deposit a security

deposit (pre-authorization blocked on the credit card, but not debited),

Sign the rental agreement and the vehicle condition sheet.

After the rental:

Be sure to refuel before returning the vehicle, the latter having been delivered with full fuel (otherwise, any supplement would be billed to the price displayed by the rental agency),

The vehicle is to be returned in the same condition as the delivery. Otherwise, any damage noted on return will be your responsibility,

You pay over-consumption (extension, over-mileage if not included in the fare formula, fuel, possible repair costs or damage / loss deductible, ...).
